Description

Before the elections in Ukraine on July 21, 2019, and after Volodymyr Zelensky’s inauguration, the Kremlin decided to find new ways to implement the plan to include the fake separatist puppet republics “DPR” and “LPR” in Ukraine, preserve terrorist armed groups, grant amnesty to militants and create new authorities for them through amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine.

A few days before the 2019 parliamentary elections, a Ukranian stooge of the Kremlin, Viktor Medvedchuk, a close friend of Vladimir Putin, arrived with his entourage in the French city of Strasbourg, where on July 17, he organized a presentation of his “peace plan”.

Pro-Russian members of the European Parliament were involved in the organization of the event:

  • General Secretary of the National Front political party Nicolas Be (France)
  • Member of the Brexit populist party Nathan Gill (Great Britain)
  • Co-chair of the Russian Union of Latvia, Tatiana Zhdaniuk

MEPs from Hungary, represented by Andrea Bocskor, also participated in the presentation.

It is also interesting that Andrea Bocskor was invited to Medvedchuk’s presentation by the Polish public and political figure Janusz Niedzwiecki – the leader of the non-profit organization European Council on Democracy and Human Rights.

In 2021, Janusz Niedzevedski was arrested on suspicion of espionage for the Russian Federation and accused of cooperation with the Russian special services.

In 2022, Andrea Bocskor voted against economic sanctions against Russia in the European Parliament.
